October Calendar We have an action packed month at Bridgeprep so make sure you're in the know! Here is the calendar for all of our activities during the month of October! Hispanic Heritage Week! During the months of September and October our school will be celebrating our Hispanic roots by having a Spirit Week inspired by the diverse cultural backgrounds found in our school. We ask all parents and students to support this important celebration by participating in bringing the necessary items or food requested by the school’s Spanish department. The celebration will take place during a whole week were students will be participating in different activities that go according to the following schedule: Monday 10/2: Music- dancing music from Hispanic countries Tuesday 10/3: Movie day- The Book of Life (tradition about the day of the death from Mexico) Wednesday 10/4: Craft day: masks, etc Thursday 10/5: Bring Hispanic Food or Candies Friday 10/6: Show/Tell- bring object and explain the connection with the Hispanic culture

Picture Day 10/2/17 Picture Day is Monday, October 2nd! Make sure your child comes dressed in his/her best uniform and smile!

Grandparent's Day Breakfast Our Grandparent's Day Breakfast has been rescheduled for October 3rd for grades K-2 and October 4th for grades 3-6 Please be sure to ask your child for the intent form, so that it may be filled out and returned to the homeroom teacher. An Intent form may also be obtained on the school's website or in the front office from Ms. Kyles

Barnes & Noble Bookfair Please join us at Barnes & Noble in Brandon on September 21st from 6pm-8pm for an evening of Family Fun!
